Bill Mueller - Audio Lead
I’m Bill, a sound designer with over 17 years of experience in AAA game development. I specialize in creating impactful, immersive audio that brings gameplay to life, whether through weapon design, environmental soundscapes, or the systems that tie it all together.
My work spans the full audio pipeline, from field recording and editing to implementation and mixing. I’ve contributed to major projects like The Elder Scrolls Online and Dungeons & Dragons Online, and most recently worked on a large-scale unannounced AAA title. In every role, I bring a detail oriented and creative approach, always focused on enhancing player experience through sound.
At the heart of my career is a passion for games and storytelling, and a drive to push the craft of sound design forward. That path started with a degree in Sound Recording Technology from UMass Lowell and early work in radio and television, where I earned three consecutive New England Emmy nominations. In 2008, I transitioned into games with Dungeons & Dragons Online, a move that set me on the course I’m still excited to pursue today.
